We're gonna take a look at how it fits here on our 2023 Jeep Gladiator. The E-Spec is gonna be very popular because of its heavy duty weight capacity. It has an 80 pound weight capacity on your Gladiator, 70 pounds if you put this on a motor home, which is gonna be a lot. Now, there are some things to keep in mind though with this type of a rack is that you do lose out on some features that you may get on lighter or more premium, meaning more pricey, bike racks. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Jeep Gladiator- Video
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 on the back of our 2023 Jeep Gladiator. The Sherpa 2.0 is a wheel-mounted bike carrier, and what that means for you it allows you to transfer your bike securely without making any contact to the frame of your bike at all. So if you have a carbon fiber bike or if you have an unconventional bike, like a step-through, this is gonna be a great way to secure it without making any contact to the frame. You're gonna have a large hook on your front wheel, and with the Sherpa you want it as close to the forks as possible, and you have a single strap on your rear wheel, and that's gonna hold your bike in place as you go down the road. A cool feature of the Sherpa 2.0 is the fact that you can pull this lever and actually tilt your bike carrier while it's loaded with bikes. You can see right here that you have full clearance to open up your tailgate without having to remove the bike from here and having any interference. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer. And today we're gonna be talking about the Hollywood Destination e-bike rack for two on the 2023 Jeep Gladiator. This bike rack can hold up the two bikes, 70 pounds each, which means it can carry those e-bikes. Another thing to note is four strap down points, and this fourth one up here is making contact with our frames. So unfortunately, we won't be able to use any carbon framed bikes, and it'll also be able to carry a lot of other bike shapes and sizes. Yakima FullTilt 5 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Hi, Matt with Etrailer. Today we're gonna be talk about the Yakima Fulltilt on the 2023 Jeep Gladiator. The Yakima Fulltilt is a hanging style bike rack that can accommodate up to five bikes, 40 pounds each. Now, that means it cannot carry e-bikes. Another thing to note, it has three tie-down points all on the frame. So that means it cannot carry alternative frame bikes or carbon frame bikes. more

This is gonna be a great versatile platform style bike with this ability to hold up to two bikes, 60 pound, 60 pounds each, which means it's gonna be able to accommodate those e-bikes. This back strap here, and up here it has this wheel hook, and if you notice that's only on the tire and not the frame which means they'll be able to accommodate not only carbon frame bikes but alternative frame bikes as well. Now, the AfterParty is going to be a pretty premium bike rack, but it has some really nice premium features to match. One thing that works really well with the Gladiator is that we actually have an integrated swing away function. So, we just go ahead and loosen this lever here, make sure that we unthread it all the way. And once we have it unthread, we just can go ahead and pull a pin here on the back allowing us to swing the whole entire bike rack away. more

Hey everyone, Charles here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Saris MHS modular bike rack for two bikes on the 2021 Jeep Gladiator. The front and rear wheel mounts make it great for carrying your carbon frame style bike since it's not gonna have any frame contact. But one of my favorite features is that it does tilt away, like so, giving you access to your bed of your truck. You can see we have plenty of clearance to grab our backpacks and our waters whatever you need for the trail. And I just really like that because carrying heavy bikes on the back of your vehicle, you may not always wanna unload it and load it whenever you have to get back into your bed. John here and today we're taking a look at the Saris Door County on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. Now this is going to be a great choice if you have two electric bikes that you're wanting to take out on the trail with your Jeep Gladiator and still being able to not have to worry about how heavy electric bikes get. One big thing that I wanna show off right off the bat is how it's able to handle working with heavier bikes and taking them off. Now as you can see, it has a mechanism here that is actually used with your wiring. It is going to be plugging in right into the back of your Jeep Gladiator. Now it is a slow process, but whenever you have heavy bikes, like say up to 60 pounds, you're gonna want that. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat Piston Pro four bike rack on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. Now if you have a Jeep Gladiator, you most likely have a lot of your equipment and a lot of your stuff in the back of your bed. Or you may have a Tonneau cover like this. So it's gonna be a little bit tougher to get your bikes in the back of your bed whenever you're doing things like maybe you're going hiking as well or you need all of your stuff in the back. So this is a great choice. Whenever you have a 40 pound weight capacity and the ability to carry four bikes along with it being able to use the wiring that comes with your Jeep Gladiator, it is going to be a great choice. more

Hey everyone, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over the Yakima StageTwo bike rack here on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. So this particular rack here is gonna be a two bike rack allowing us to carry up to two bikes. Now, keep in mind, this rack is also available in a four bike version as well. So either you have the two bike and you wanna purchase the add-on to carry up to four bikes or you just purchase the four bike rack outta the gate. Keep in mind, if you purchase the four bike rack outta the gate, you can always take the outermost two trays off to have a two bike. Now, in regards to colors, we're gonna have a nice gray color here, which is what we see installed on our Gladiator today. more

Hey everyone. How's it going Today we're gonna be going over the Kuat Piston Pro X 2-bike rack here on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. Now there's a few different types of bike rack options on the market, the two main ones being hanging style and platform style. So this is obviously a platform style. A hanging bike rack, they're still great options, typically a lot more cost-effective than the platform style, but they're much harder to lift your bikes up and on to, and they don't allow you really to carry bikes over 35 pounds. So with the platform-style racks here, all you do is have to lift your bikes up to the wheel trace here. more

This is designed for your extra heavy electric bikes and we'll take a look at how it fits here on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. Our focus here today is just to talk about how this works with the truck and the features, and it has a lot of cool features, but the feature that impressed me the most is the tilt-away. We have this knob right over here. You're gonna wanna rotate that knob where it's just loose enough to push out and when you push out, let's see, not loose enough there, and when you push this out, it's gonna stay there. So it is currently ready to tilt it away, but when you have your extra heavy electric bikes there, you may wanna, you know, prepare yourself, get yourself ready. more

Hi, everyone, John here and today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp for two bikes on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. This is gonna be a great bike rack if you need to get your heavier set bikes or maybe your thicker bikes to and from the trail or the campsite safely and effectively. Now let's take a closer look at some of the specs that make this a great choice for you, especially if you need something to help you get the bike off. Now, this is going to have a 66 pound weight capacity which is going to be great for a large amount of bikes including your electric bikes and your mountain bikes that are on the heavier side. It's also gonna have a 50 inch wheel base. And with that, it's going to be able to handle larger bikes like this, which some 48 inch wheel base sometimes goes over the side or you have a little trouble moving it back and forth. more

So this is your fixed platform style rack, that's gonna allow you to carry up to two bikes with 35 pounds per bike. It's not gonna be the best for your carbon frame. As you can see, it's gonna be mounted on by the frame, so if you have your carbon frames, it might whoop or damage that. This is your fixed platform style rack, that is gonna allow you to carry two bikes, up to 35 pounds per bike. And this is a great entry level bike rack, especially if you don't ride too often. more

This is a great rack to use for almost any type of bike you have that's under 60 pounds, except for maybe those with a fender, but otherwise this is gonna do the job. Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Jeep Gladiator HLY84FR- Video
Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Rack Sport Rider SE2 for the 2021 Jeep Gladiator. So this is your great heavy duty bike rack that's awesome for your heavy bikes and your electric bikes as it can carry up to 80 pounds per tray. It is made out of a galvanized steel that makes it very durable and finished with a black powder coat, making it rust-resistant. One of the features that I like is the tilt-away feature. And to do that, I'm just gonna remove this pin here and pull on this knob, giving me access to the bed of my truck to grab anything I need. Locks back into place when I lift it up, then I'm just gonna reinsert the pin. more

Curt 2 Electric Bike Rack Review - 2020 Jeep Gladiator- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Curt 2 bike platform rack, here on our 2020 Jeep Gladiator. So if you guys are looking for a way of getting two bikes to your destination, well this could be a 1/2 decent way of doing so. Now, personally I think this rack has a few shortcomings and we're gonna be breaking that down here in this video but it's still gonna be a really nice way if you're looking for something with just a little bit more higher weight capacity than you might be seeing on some other carriers. Why I say that Well, we have 130 pound weight capacity overall for both of our bikes, putting us at a 65 pound solo bike capacity, which can be very nice for our E-bikes, right Those are already starting to get up a little bit higher past that standard 60 pound weight capacity. So this would probably be the reason I think a lot of us are gonna be getting it. more

So it's gonna be a platform style bike rack, which means the bike sits in the wheel wells, and is held by this hook here on the frame. So we have an aluminum road bike on here, we don't suggest using carbon fiber bikes, just because the pressure that it's putting on that top tube, you don't want to dent or scratch anything. Now it does have a coating on the hook, so it's not gonna bother our aluminum bike today. And it holds it pretty well, I can shake the whole thing back and forth. more

So this is gonna be an excellent way of giving you guys a little bit of assistance of actually getting your heavy old e-bikes to your destination, wherever that might be taking you. Now, a couple of caveats with this thing, big thing is gonna be, you are gonna need a seven pole connector for your electrical harnesses to actually get this to work. So we are gonna need those plugins. So if we don't have that on our vehicle, we're either gonna need it, or this isn't the right bike rack for us. more

So, what I have right here, is the HangTight 4, since it can carry up to four bikes, but you can also get the HangTight 6 which works the exact same way, but with that one, you can carry up to six bikes. So, this is a space-saving bike rack. So, instead of hanging-style bike racks, which should go out, and the more bikes you have to carry the further out you have to push them in, with this, instead of going out, you go up. more

Hey everyone, Connor here today at etrailer.com Today, we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer.com four bike rack here on our 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Our etrailer bike rack here is going to be an excellent economical option to take your four bikes with you and hit the trails. So as are etrailer bike rack here is more of an economical option, we're going to forego some of the premium features you may be used to on the other bike racks, such as the anti-sway cradles. What the anti-sway cradles do is they essentially stop our bikes from being able to rock back and forth. However, the absence of these cradles is actually going to help us a little bit with removing and installing our bikes. It's going to be one less step and one less connection we need to make each time for each of our bikes. more

So, right off the bat, before we get too carried away, this rack is going to be available in a couple of different configurations. So, we have the two bike version here on our gladiator today, but it's also available in a four bike version, and both of those are going to be available in a few different colors. So, you'll have the gunmetal gray like we have on our Jeep, and there's also a gloss black or a matte black finish. So, really gives you a few different options and you can choose whichever one is your favorite or whichever one matches up with your Jeep the best.So, my first impressions of the rack on the back of the gladiator is I think it looks really good, actually. more

Evangeline: Hi, it's me, Evangeline, from etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Saris MTR 2-Bike Platform Style Rack here on our 2020 Jeep Gladiator. So this is a great bike rack, especially if you want all the options for your different types of bikes. One of the features is that it can tilt away, so to do so, you just pull this lever here and let it down. It comes to a stop there at that bottom, and you would want to do this if you want to open up your tailgate. So you can see here that we can completely lower our tailgate, which is great if we need to get in there, take things out of the truck bed without having to worry about taking off all our bikes and the bike rack. When you're done with that, you just lift up and it snaps into place.The way our bike is mounted to our bike rack here is by these two wheel mounts. more

As you can see here it is wheel mounted, so it's going to work great when it comes to those carbon frame bikes, or it even works great for a mountain bike or step-through bike. Any bike for that matter.Another nice feature that I really like is going to be the tilt-away. That way, if we need to access anything that's in our truck bed, or we need to load it up, we can do so. more

One really nice thing is we can keep all of our coolers, camping gear, anything we might need, in the bed, and then put our bikes on the back of our Jeep. Clayton: Hey, everyone, Clayton here at etrailer.com. Today, we'll be taking a look at the Thule Camber 4 Bike Hanging Bike Rack on our 2020 Jeep Gladiator. So, you might be asking yourself, "Why do I need a bike rack if I have a truck" But if you're taking a road trip, or camping, or anything like that, you can put everything you need in your bed and then hang your bikes off the back of your vehicle and leave some extra space.Our bike rack is going to work with an inch and a quarter and two inch hitch receivers, so it will be pretty versatile if you have different hitch sizes for different vehicles and we will be able to take up to four bikes with us on the trails. Our bikes are going to mount here on the frame. There's three points of contact. We have this one here, this one here, and one down here around the back of our seat post.So, it is pretty solid on our rack, but if you have a carbon fiber bike, you do want to keep that in mind. more
